ACADEMIC PROJECT
‘ÔDĒŌ (the phonetic spelling of 'Audio') is a packaging project that innovates on the current bland packaging for retro music players + accessories, such as cassette players, record players, speakers, and headphones.

Problem
I needed to create a packaging system for a product line with various components, or a grouping of products that relate to one another in some way. The line must contain a minimum of four pieces. I also needed to invent the name of the product line and it's various components. 

Process
For the cassette packaging, I crafted a box where the manual + instructions/warranty could be found in the form of a cassette, fulfilling the packaging to act as the cassette player. This is an idea I would like to implement for the other products as well, would this be a commercially-funded project. The ultimate objective was, "anything that you'd be hesitant of throwing away."

Solution
I created a four piece packaging system for products that were brought back from the past with a modern, minimalist, and colorful take. All while fulfilling the intent of scaring consumers from throwing away the boxes and rather displaying the packaging along with the product.
