DISNEYLAND MARKET HOUSE                                                                                                                        ILLUSTRATION / CREATIVE DIRECTION
In partnership with Disneyland and Disneyland Market House (Starbucks), I was tasked with designing 3 x 3 stickers/pins to congratulate winners for an internal drink making competition. The competition was Star Wars themed, as part of the park's annual 'May the Fourth' and 'Disneyland After Dark' celebrations.

Problem
To create a series of 3 x 3 stickers/pins that is Star Wars themed as well as Starbucks/Coffee themed.

Process
I began by illustrating various options that would marry the two topics of Star Wars and Disneyland's Market House (a bakery in concept). Market House will often create special one-of-a-kind cookies and baked goods that are also in theme with the park's celebrations. I approached this idea by creating a Death Star cookie and a congratulatory statement which is "Best Drink in the outer Rim" with the name of the location that held the competition and the year. I wanted to create a sticker that is directly an homage to the Star Wars film's classic look and created an all-type version that tributes its classic font. Finally, I created two versions of a latte art-designed Darth Vader.

Solution
I successfully created a set of 3x3 stickers/pins for Disneyland and Disneyland Market House to hand out as a reward for its current/past/future cast member competitions, which they did and I was coincidentally a winner of, too!
